Warm Fruit

Baking or stewing fruit is the perfect way to make it much easier to digest and delicious to enjoy. It’s a perfect quick light , warm and sweet breakfast, afternoon snack or turn it into a healthy dessert! Balances vata dosha.

  1. Oven method: cut an apple in 1/2 and put some ghee or coconut oil on it, cinnamon, cardamon, ginger powders, a pinch of salt. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or until soft. Add a drizzle of maple syrup or honey to sweeten or a dollop of almond butter for protein.

  2. Stove top: slice an apple, sautee the apple on medium heat in ghee for 3 minutes add cinnamon and cardamon powder and either fresh ginger or a pinch of powder, and a pinch of salt to it. optional: Add a few raisins will cooking. Take off heat add a some honey or maple syrup

  3. Turn it into a dessert: Take the stewed fruit and add some toppings either toasted oats with spices and just some sliced nuts with spices and done- easy healthy vedic cobbler !
