Date Shake

Build Rasa Dhatu (immune system strength, and promote healthy menstrual cycle for women)

Soak 2-3 large or 3-4 medium sized dates in warm water for a few minutes

Take out pits and blend with:

1 cup of warm (not cold) non dairy milk
½ tsp cardamom
¼ tsp turmeric
¼ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ghee, either warm and then blend, or blend and drink at room temp.

Variations:

Add a few raisins, figs, cranberries and almonds

Add 1/2 teaspoon chia seeds and soak (at room temperature) for more hydration.

To go vegan, omit the ghee
