300-Hour Yoga Veda Vinyasa Teacher Training
Hybrid training: weekly online+ 10 day in person
Santuario Shala, Oaxaca Coast, Mexico
Feb 18-June 30 2026
This is the moment to step forward with your voice, your head, you heart and curosity to embody your yoga, to live an ayurvedic way and to teach with your full passion.
Yoga Veda Vinyasa YTT returns with an advanced 300-hour vinyasa teacher training grounded in the wisdom of Ayurveda, with a strong focus on embodied teaching, cultivating your unique voice, elemental sequencing, and living yoga as a daily practice.
Our hybrid program includes weekly evening sessions, practice teaching, class participation, and a capstone project, culminating in a 10-day immersion at Santuario Shala — a nature-immersed, purposefully designed retreat center created by Kameko as the home for Yoga Veda trainings.
The training is led by Kameko Shibata (ERYT-500, MA Ayurveda) with support from Kanami Anderson (ERYT-500) and Lily Dwyer Begg (ERYT-200). Yoga Veda is a Yoga Alliance–recognized school now in its 10th year, with over 100 graduates from programs held in both Mexico and the U.S.
Our advanced training emphasizes anatomy, alignment, teaching methodology, and self-inquiry — intentionally woven with the philosophy of the Yoga Sutras and grounded in the elemental principles of Ayurveda. You will refine your sequencing skills, expand your vocabulary and presence as a teacher, and further cultivate your authentic voice and creative expression through a structure informed by elemental awareness. The Ayurvedic foundation of this program supports not only technical skill, but also personal wellbeing, resilience, and holistic living. Our program is not only designed to ignite your passion for teaching but also your passion for yoga, mindfulness, ayurveda embodied in your daily life. So you are not merely teaching but living the practices.
Whether your intention is to elevate your teaching, deepen your personal practice, integrate Ayurveda, explore philosophy, or continue your professional evolution — this 300-hour training is a transformative pathway for growth, confidence, and mastery on and off the mat.
